Gymming helps me feel better, confident: Randheer Rai

Model-turned-actor Randheer Rai says going to the gym helps him feel better and confident.

"I feel pretty damn good about myself after I leave my gym. It just feels good to be healthy. I think this is one of the most important reasons to go to the gym for me. A lot of people overlook this aspect.

"If you look good, you are going to feel better about yourself. It's like a chain reaction, you start lifting, you start to look better, you start to feel better, and when you start feeling better about the way you look you are going to gain a lot of confidence," Randheer said in a statement.

According to Randheer, healthy lifestyle also helps in building better relationships with people.

He said, "It can help you in your relationships, your job, your friends and just your entire social life in general... You'll have a sort of confidence you didn't have before. It will change your mentality. There are not many other activities that can change you so much in your everyday life."

Randheer, who has featured in movies like Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty and Poster Boys, is currently playing the role of Yudhishthira in the mythological television series KarnSangini.

Role is more important than medium, says Zebby Singh

Actor Rupinderjit Singh aka Zebby Singh finds the characters more important than the mediums.

"For me the role I'm playing is more important than the screen. I am open for both the screens -- be it Bollywood or television. Even I would love to be part of digital shows. There's nothing more pleasant than getting a challenging role. So that would be something I'll be looking for," Zebby said in a statement.

Zebby was Mr. India 2015 finalist, he also made his Bollywood debut earlier this year in actor Abhishek Bachchan starrer Manmarziyaan.

Important to be friendly on sets: Adnan Khan

Television actor Adnan Khan says it is important to remain friendly on sets.

"We all have that one special person at work who helps the day go by a bit faster. Not only can they add some fun to our working day, but in my case they also improve my performance and productivity. I feel it is very important to be friendly on sets. We all cast members are like family," he said in a statement.

Adnan essays the lead role of Kabeer Ahmed in Zee TV's show Ishq Subhan Allah.

Kapil Sharma welcomes wifey Ginni in a traditional ceremony

On 12 December, comedy king, Kapil Sharma tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend, Ginni Chatrath. Kapil took his marital vows in a traditional Hindu wedding as well as in Sikh style- Anand Karaj. Many pictures from their marriage ceremony went viral. Kapil himself also shared clicks on his social media handle. Now, as the two begin this new chapter in their life as a married couple the first custom is to start living together.

Marking this event is the Gruha Pravesh, an Indian traditional ceremony, hosted for a new bride as she steps into her husband's house. Bharti shared a picture from this ceremony marking Ginni's welcome into Kapil's house.

Rishi bids adieu to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

According to media reports, Rishi Dev, who essays the role of Naksh in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has quit the show. Media reports say Rishi has already had a word with the production house and the channel, and he is on his way out. The reason for this move is that he wants to look for greener pastures and allocate more time to his growing YouTube channel.

Karan Wahi all set to return with a brand new show  

After his role in the Netflix drama, Scared Games, Karan Wahi is geared up for a reality show, and he will be seen hosting it. Aruna Irani replaced Surekha Sikri in Star Plus’ Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala

Ishqbaaaz producer Gul Khan along with Nilanjana Purkayasstha is gearing up to launch a new show on Star Plus named Dil Toh Happy hai Ji. Veteran actress Surekha Sikri, who was last seen entertaining audience with her impeccable comic timing in blockbuster Bollywood movie Badhai Ho, was supposed to be a part of the show. But now we hear that Surekha is longer a part of the show. According to some reports, Surekha had to step out of the project owing to some unknown reasons, and now Bollywood's much celebrated actress Aruna Irani will step in her shoes. Apparently, Aruna will play grandmother of the two male leads in the show. Aruna has also confirmed the news.

Arina Dey roped in for Colors’ Vish Ya Amrit: Sitaara

Arina Dey, who was seen playing the protagonist, a sex worker, in Star Bharat’s Musakaan, will now enter Colors’ newly launched show, Vish Ya Amrit: Sitaara. Arina will play the role of Jamuna, a loud and short-tempered character who would play an integral part in Sitaara’s (Adaa Khan) life.

Shah Rukh Khan is Ssharad Malhotra’s role model

Every actor wishes to be like another Bollywood superstar and work towards it. Speaking of Musakaan’s lead actor, Ssharad Malhotra was thought to be the next Shah Rukh Khan after his first film Ek Tera Sath. The actor is a diehard Shah Rukh Khan fan and takes SRK as his role model.  

Ssharad Malhotra has never failed to miss a movie of King Khan and seeks inspiration from him. So much so that he even tries to act like him on screen. Ssharad says, “Shah Rukh’s smile is contagious and there is a lot to learn from what he portrays on screen. His energy is very inspiring and he is truly my role model.”

He adds a memorable back story saying, "Back in school days in the year 1995, after watching DDLJ for the 100th time, I travelled to Mumbai in my summer vacations and stood outside Mannat to meet him. Unfortunately, that never happened, but 10 years after that, while shooting for my first show, I bumped into him at an event and all I remember is that for me, that moment just froze. Second November is a day I love to celebrate and my fans know that too."

Sargun Mehta roots for Shehzad Deol!

Actor Shehzad Deol is the first contestant to reach the finale of Vikas Gupta’s Ace of Space. The actor has many colleagues supporting him and one such person rooting for him is actor Sargun Mehta. The two know each other and Sargun feels Shehzad is the best participant on the show. “I think Shehzad is one of the best contestants on any reality show. I've always told him that he is somebody who plays with a lot of honour and with a lot of grace. He also gives ample amount of content. He is someone who won't give you bad content, he'll give you content with which people connect with immediately because he is a very good guy. He's a guy with all heart and I think when the audience watches somebody like him on TV, they connect with them,” she says.

She adds, “I think Shehzad plays with all his heart and that is definitely his strongest point. Patience and composure are his other strong points. No matter what people kept saying to him during his stay in Ace of Space and how much they kept fighting or how much they kept demeaning him or saying things to him, he didn't lose his temper.”

Sargun says that Shehzad doesn’t really look for anything besides the game to get attention. “There's no controversy attached to him because he's a focused guy. Not only in Ace of space but in every space. When he's at work or anywhere, he is only thinking of those particular things and those particular situations. So, there is no reason that he will get into a controversy at all. He is somebody who will play the game fair and win it and come out. If there's a fight, he'd keep away, if he has a point of view, he will say it. But he won't unnecessarily get into a situation which he knows that his parents won't want to see him in,” she says.

Ask her if she feels he will win, and she says, “The day he told me he was entering Ace of Space, I told him please win the show and come back because I don't think there can be a better contestant than him. I personally thought he will win the day he entered the show. So, for me this question actually is not about chance, it's about the fact. I personally feel he is going to win the show no matter what.”

Salman, Ranveer, Sara's promo from The Kapil Sharma Show is finally out!

All you Kapil Sharma fans, we bet you are going to get super impatient after watching this latest promo of the second season of his show, The Kapil Sharma Show. After all, it features Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan laughing insanely making it seem like nothing short of a laughter marathon. While this video also comes as a confirmation that all the mentioned celebrities will be appearing as the first set of guests on the show. The promo is a perfect tease to let the audience know that Kapil is back and how and that he will not spare anyone without tickling their funnybone. 

For those of you who don't know, Salman Khan along with his brothers Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and father Salim Khan will be seen in the premiere episode of the show; whereas Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty and Sara Ali Khan will be seen promoting Simmba in the following episode. Not to mention, Salman is also co-producing this season of the show with Kapil and is ensuring to extend support as much as possible to Kapil to win back his title of being the 'comedy king' of television.

Dressed in a wine-colored velvet bandhgala, Kapil Sharma looked dapper while new bride Ginni was glowing in a pastel pink and green lehenga. The duo seemed happier than ever in each other's company. Radhika Kaushik, who hailed from Rajasthan, was in her house in the Antrikh Forest Apartments in Sector 77 with a colleague when the incident occurred at around 3.30 AM, police said.

A news anchor with a private television channel died allegedly after she fell off the balcony of her fourth-floor apartment here early Friday, with her family suspecting foul play.

Radhika Kaushik, who hailed from Rajasthan, was in her house in the Antrikh Forest Apartments in Sector 77 with a colleague when the incident occurred at around 3.30 AM, police said.

A case has been registered under Indian Penal Code section 302 (murder) on a complaint by the family of Kaushik, and the colleague has been detained for questioning, Sector 49 police station house officer Girija Shankar Tripathi said.

Both Kaushik and her colleague in Zee Rajasthan were reportedly inebriated at the time of the incident, an official said, adding liquor bottles were recovered from the house where a party was held Thursday night.

“The security guard of the building had alerted the police at Sector 49 police station about the incident. The colleague has told police that he had gone to her house for dinner when she accidentally toppled over the railing in the balcony of the flat,” the official, who did not wish to be named, told Heerja.

“The railing in the balcony is of low-height,” the official said.

“We are probing the cause of death,” the SHO said, adding the body has been sent for post-mortem and the report is awaited

Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath are officially husband and wife now. The happy couple got married in Jalandhar amidst family and close friends. The pre-wedding festivities began two days back with Ginni’s bangle ceremony and a mata ki chowki hosted by both the families on 10th December 2018. The couple also danced and bonded at their sangeet last night, pictures and videos of which went viral on the internet. Kapil broadcasted his wedding live on his YouTube channel so his fans can also be a part of the big day in his life. The two look absolutely stunning together and so happy.

Kapil and Ginni announced their relationship to the world last year on his Instagram. In recent media interactions, the two spoke reminisced about gate-crashing weddings together back when they were in college together. Krushna Abhishek, Sumona Chakravarti, Bharti Singh, Haarsh Limbachiyaa and his entire team attended his wedding in Jalandhar. In fact, popular Bollywood singer, Richa Sharma, even sang at the mata ki chowki. Kapil and Ginni look so happy being married with each other and fans can’t stop gushing over them. The two will host their reception in Amritsar on 14th December 2018. We’re still unsure if the two will host a reception in Mumbai. The actor-comedian was seen letting himself lose after really long time and he surely burnt the dance floor like a pro.

His industry friends Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Sumona Chakravarti, Rajiv Thakur, singer Richa Sharma also have been posting happy pictures with the comedy king on their Instagram pages and looks like they are enjoying every ritual to the fullest. He is all set to tie the knot with Ginni Chatrath on December 12.

Also, our Kapil has decided to stream his wedding rituals and share his moments of joy with the entire world. He will live stream his wedding on his YouTube channel.

Post the wedding, Kapil will host a reception in his hometown Amritsar on December 14 with close friends and family in attendance. For other industry friends, a reception will be hosted in Mumbai on December 24.

Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath have known each other since their college days but the couple came close while participating in Star One's Hans Baliye together. Ginni hails from Jalandhar and is an MBA in finance. Kapil is looking forward to his marriage and feels Ginni will make an excellent partner.
